2014 - table lamp - ARTEMIDE
With two lamps set up like a seesaw searching for equilibrium, Equilibrist is a playful sign-object. Two dissimilar–rotating, revolving–lamps turn on a vertical axis, creating a sort of high-tech semaphore in which the signal emits light, assymetrically.
My design involves simple things that correponds not so much to needs as to the very nature of light, of what light is or could be.
