Presented as a preview to the Ufficio da Abitare exhibit at the Milan Furniture Fair, the Cases furniture system was reinstalled in the Jean Nouvel Design showroom inParis.

A scenario arising from Jean Nouvel’s thinking, conducted over many years, about the office as a space, this is a proposal that opposes cloned and repetitive systems: it’s a construction game. The office becomes a space where freedom flourishes: a world that can be appropriated and transformed through reconfiguration, accumulation, stacking. This office suggests other ways of working, it accepts elements foreign to the system or to the times; being heterogenous, it forms a landscape like the city skyline.
