2011 - wall system - methis

More than a partition, this is a wall construction system, in which the joins disappear in the folds of corrugated metal. The perforated wall becomes a device offering endless potential, to which a range of shelves, tables and accessories can be anchored. The ease of transformation–limitless–allows the partitions to be reconfigured and the spaces to be realigned. The frame bearing the partition is made using steel mounts and fibroplaster sheets. The internal frame of the partition is then dressed in fully recyclable aluminium slats. It is wholly dry-mounted, without the use of mortars or glue. On top of this, the partition is a humidity regulator, houses integrated heaters and shows excellent sound absorption behaviour.

Lastly, the whole set of electrical fixtures is integrated into the system.

An architectural structure in metal, like a quote from Jean Prouvé. More than a partition, this is a true continuous construction system, in which the joins disappear in the folds of the metal. Its skin, which is folded like paper, is perforated regularly and lacquered, and turns into a wall.
