I’ve been dreaming of Oxymore for years. I represented Oxymore as an ideal chair in a number of projects, without ever managing to manufacture it till now.
Oxymore is like an icon of a chair; it is a taut, pared-down object. It is the essence of the chair, an object that should travel through the years without going out of date. Oxymore looks rigid, but that’s a matter of mere appearances. Its comfort surprises us…
Until now we didn’t know how to resolve the contradiction, but Figueras’s research capabilities have allowed us to happily overcome the difficulty.
